The Samurai Book is a database with Tori Amos lyrics for Ears with Feet.

The menu on the left shows the table of contents and lets you navigate to the albums and tracks of an opened album. For specific searching use the complete table of contents, index or search from the menu.

Many tracks also contain Samurai Lyrics, these lyrics are asumptions of what she really sings. I spent hours listening to her songs with a headphone to write down the Samurai Lyrics. I heard her say "I get the Samurai book out and just read words" and I knew the title for the site.

The whole story:
Years ago this website was called "Wussy, how brave you are". I still had time to regularly update my Tori Amos news and thoughts section. The site had some information about RAINN and a discography. The lyrics section of my discography became the biggest part of my site and I started paying more attention to that and had less and less time for the rest of my site.

In that same time a Tori Amos site lived called, "What did she just say?". This site had some quotes from songs where you hear Tori saying something weird. With my headphones on, I spent hours on my computer adding "real" lyrics to my site. I knew the name for my new site when I heard her say: I get the Samurai book out and just read words."

In the samurai book each track will have some information about the track (like other artists), the story behind the song (her children), the official lyrics from the cd book and the samurai lyrics (what she really sings).

The Samurai Book has many navigational features.

• The short Table of contents on the left as primary navigation. It holds the top level pages, the albums and tracks to an album if opened.
• At the top of each page three links allow you to navigate to the parent page, previous page and next page in the site.
• Related links, supported by several browsers like Opera, include the top level pages, parent, next and previous page.
• The complete table of contents contain the sitemap, with all tracks ordered by album.
• The search page allow you to search The Samurai Book with the Goole search engine.
• The index contains all tracks and albums listed in alphabetical order.
• Most pages, and many links have this image . For faster navigation you can add that page to the bookmarks on the right side of the page, where you can delete them with this image .
• If you see this image you can search with that title on Google.
• If you see this image you can send me site corrections or additions (like lyrics) with a webform.

Are you a graphic designer? Please, please, please help me on this page. You can see the graphics are quite goofy, but the point of what I want should be quite clear. The background image of the book is tiled depending on the size of the page. The bookmarks are on the right side. The title is on the back of a book (but if you have a better idea, go ahead).
